Complete palm oil refining process

Crude palm oil → Degumming → Neutralization → Bleaching → Deodorization (optional) → Fractionation → Finished palm oil

The four refining steps of palm oil as below:

 1: Pour the crude oil into the refining tank and stir quickly while heating it with steam.

 2: Add water and heat. This is the most important stage of hydrolysis and degumming. The amount, temperature and speed of adding water must be mastered. At the same time, alkali is added to remove free fatty acids.

3: Add quantitative decolorizing agent (activated white clay, activated carbon) into the decolorizing tank, continue to stir and heat up, and then pump the mixture of oil and white clay into the filter for filtration to complete decolorization.

4: The decolorized palm oil is sent to the deodorizing oil tank and the odor is removed with a steam generator.
