Bleaching section

The main purpose of the bleaching process is to remove pigments present in crude oil and neutralize residual soap in the oil. The bleaching process includes the following stages:

1. Bleaching section

The oil is heated to 105 degrees through a neutralized oil heater using low-pressure steam under stable flow control.

The heated oil is then fed into a vacuum decolorization tower. When the oil enters the bleaching tower, it is mixed with the clay through a proportioning mixer.

The clay transportation system is used to transport the clay on the ground to the clay room by wind, and then flow into the storage tank above the decolorization tower.

The Bleaching section tower is divided into several layers, and each layer is equipped with a steam ejector to stir the oil and clay. The remaining soap, gum precipitates, pigments and other metals in the oil are also adsorbed by the Bleaching section earth.

Filter

The mixture of oil and clay from the Bleaching section tower is pumped into the bleaching filter, and then enters the fine filter, where the clay and solid impurities are blocked, and the filtered product (Bleaching section oil) is then transferred to the Bleaching section oil tank for intermediate storage.

There are two Bleaching section filters in this system, one is always in filtering state, and the other is in emptying and cleaning state. When in the emptying and cleaning period, the filter is squeezed by steam, so that most of the oil in the filter is blown to the Bleaching section oil tank, and a small amount of oil mixed with clay is discharged into the steam brake/stain oil tank. , the filter cake is dried with steam, and the remaining oil and condensed water accumulated during the filter drying period are also discharged into the waste oil tank. Finally, the dry cake passes through the discharge valve at the bottom of the filter and is poured into the waste using a pneumatic vibrator.
